Ordering and Shipping

Following terms apply to users of rye-sleep.com. They are valid for all future transactions with rye-sleep.com. This website is directed to private individuals. For this reason, the terms and conditions mentioned here are not related to any of the conditions applied in the stores of our retailers.

ORDER CONFIRMATION

Once we have received your order we will send you an order confirmation by e-mail. We recommend that you save this as confirmation that we received your order. After the payment has been successfully registered you will receive another e-mail containing your order details and information about delivery. SHIPPING

RYE offer two optional shipping methods for most European countries:

Curbside delivery: Your order is delivered at the curbside of you home and must be collected there. Once the order has been shipped from our factory, you will receive an email with tracking information. The freight company will subsequently call you to agree on day and time of the delivery.

Room of choice delivery: Your order is delivered in whichever room on your address. Once the order has been shipped from our factory, you will receive an email with tracking information. No later than 48
hours before delivery, the freight company will contact you to arrange a delivery time. If you are prevented from receiving the order at the planned time, you have 24 hours to refuse the delivery, after which the freight company will return with a new time.

Other countries: If you are prevented in checking out due to shipping limitations, please contact us and we will return with a quote on your shipment.

DELIVERY TIMES

All our furniture is made-to-order, meaning that we don’t start producing a bed before it has been ordered. This is a responsible choice made to avoid over-production. Due to this procedure, our estimated delivery times are as following:

Ejer Bed Frame: 2 - 3 weeks

Other Bedframes: 5 – 7 weeks

Nightstands: 5 – 7 weeks

Mattresses and toppers: 2 - 3 week

Please note that minor delays can occur in the event of unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be notified I advance.

COMPLAINTS

Please not that all our products are made from natural materials. This means that small imperfections can occur. We look at these
variations as something inherent to the materials we work with – a quality that makes each piece distinct and unique.

We do our best to ensure that product images represent the actual products as well as possible, but we point out that we cannot
guarantee complete similarity between colors in images and physical products.

WARRANTY

When shopping at www.rye-sleep.com, you are entitled to a two-year warranty. That means you either get the product repaired, replaced, your money back or a discount, depending on the individual situation. Naturally, the claim must be warranted, and the error or defect must not be due to incorrect use of the product or other harmful behavior.

You must send your claim info@rye-sleep.com within a “reasonable time” after discovering the product error or defect. If you make
your compliant within two weeks of discovering the error/defect, the claim will be considered as received on time.

RYE covers the shipping costs in connection with a complaint or incorrect delivery.

RETURNS

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason within 14 days after delivery. The Right of Withdrawal period starts on the day you received the product(s). Within 14 days of receipt, you must notify us that you regret your purchase and wish to cancel it. A notification must be sent to info@rye-sleep.com. Your notification must clearly state that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation.

All items that are custom, bespoke, or made upon request are a final sale and thus waives the right to cancel the order in questions.

Returning the goods: You are responsible for bearing all costs related to returning the product. When returning the goods, you are further responsible for ensuring that the products are suitably packaged. If the goods have been damaged or shows signs of use, you will be reimbursed only a part or none of the purchase price, depending on the commercial value of the goods.

Reimbursement: If you utilize your right of cancellation, we will refund the amount no later than 14 days from the date on which we received notification of your decision to cancel the agreement. We will reimburse you using the same means of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless you have expressly consented otherwise. We can withhold the reimbursement until we receive the goods, unless you have furnished documentation showing that you have returned it.

PAYMENT

Payment is possible via:

Credit card: Visa-Dankort / Visa / Visa Electron / MasterCard / Maestro and JBC.

Bank transfer: You will be invoiced to pay, when you received your order confirmation.

PayPal: Use your PayPal account and pay during checkout.

Upon payment the amount will be reserved on your credit card, but the amount not captured before your orders has been shipped.

RYE operates in one currency: EUR.

DUTIES & TAXES

EU: Due to the VAT rules for countries belonging to the European Union (EU), prices include the national VAT rate, valid for each individual country.

Outside EU: For orders outside EU, VAT deductions will automatically be applied to your order. However, you may be charged VAT, import duties and taxes by customs upon receipt of your order. RYE ships your order according to Incoterm Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). This means that we cannot collect VAT, duties and taxes to countries outside the European Union and further we cannot predict what your
charges may be.
