The RYE studio store is located in the historical buildings of Frederiksgade 1 in Copenhagen.
During 3 days of design, the space was transformed into a scenographic oasis exploring sleep through sound and materiality
Birds & the Quiet
Written in the wake of a late April walk, Birds & the Quiet is a topography of sleep.
It explores the gradual displacement of silence, following a historical path from the quiet
evenings of premodern bedrooms to the periphery of human existence.
